I am an engineer that is concerned with autonomous systems, robotics, drones, and artificial intelligence, also I am a hobbyist astronomer, a photography enthusiast, and a chess player.
I have graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Cairo University, Aerospace dept. with a solid experience in flight dynamics, control, embedded systems as well as computer engineering
I have earned my Master of science degree from Cairo University in localization and mapping algorithms of robots and drones.
I had earned 2 IEEE EED awards in computer engineering and mechanical engineering, Co-founded a space systems technology laboratory "SSTL" for developing nano-scale satellite prototypes like CanSat and CubeSats.
I believe in developing a complete product that merges theory and practice. I do not believe in diving into the theory without an eye towards the implementation.
This belief guided me to develop my implementation skills alongside my solid theoretical background, so I had enrolled in a technical diploma in embedded systems, a certified SolidWorks CAD CAM training on CAD design and modeling, web development, android diploma in addition to a deep learning nano-degree. This belief also guided me toward business development and entrepreneurship
I have 8+ years of experience as a robotics engineer and a teaching assistant TA. I have worked as an R&D officer in the Egyptian Air Forces EAF , a drones engineer at Helwan aircraft factory , a teaching assistant at Zewail university, and a robotics team lead at KSA . As well as being a business developer. I code in CPP, C, python, and java and prefer Linux over windows and mac
One of my targets is to offer the experience I have gained to the next generations to avoid reinventing the wheel, so I have recorded and documented some of this hands-on experience developed through my master's thesis and beyond on high-value online courses here.
I am a husband and father of two boys and I am happy to see you here.
